Day 2 San Cristóbal de las Casas – Montebello Lakes – San Cristóbal de las Casas

After breakfast, we´ll go to Amatenango de Valle, a community dedicated to craft clay, next, we will visit the Chiflón fall and we end with a visit to Montebello lakes. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 San Cristóbal de las Casas – Indigenous Communities– Tuxtla Gutiérrez

After breakfast, we departure to the San Juan Chamula town to admire the religion the Tzotzil natives, next we will go to the Indigenous community of Zinacantán where we will visit the church and the house of a family, where we will taste a liquor clandestinely made by the citizens while we see how the waist loom is used, next we will go to Tuxtla Gutiérrez where we will leave you at the airport or bus station.

Departure at 05:30 hrs. from the hotel (breakfast in the route) to Agua Azul falls, a series of falls created by the Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers flow, creating not very deep canyons with vertical cliffs, where you can swim and enjoy the different areas. We’ll continue to the Misol-Ha Falls, with 30m high and surrounded by the tropical forest make this a refreshing and beautiful place. Next, we will visit the archeological zone of Palenque, a Mayan city famous for its architecture and wonderful sculptures, where we can admire several buildings such as: The Palace, The Cruz Foliada Temple, The Sun Temple and among others. Continuing to its hotel in the city of Palenque. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 4 Palenque – La Venta Museum – Villahermosa

After breakfast, we´ll depart to Villahermosa, where we will visit “La Venta “museum, heart of the Olmec culture, afterwards, we will take you to the airport or bus terminal.

Day 5 Palenque – Bonampak- Yaxchilán – Palenque

Departure at 06:00 hrs. from the hotel (breakfast in the route) to the archeological zone of Bonampak, where we will see antique mural paintings that will take us to the past of the fascinating Mayan Culture. Next, we will visit corozal border where we´ll take a boat across the Usumacinta river to arrive to the lost city of Yaxchilán, one of the most beautiful cities of the Mayan culture located at the fringes of the river and surrounded by thick vegetation. Time to eat (meals are not included) in the corozal border, afterwards we will return to the hotel in Palenque.

Day 6 Palenque – La Venta Museum – Villahermosa

After breakfast, we´ll depart to Villahermosa, where we will visit “La Venta” museum, heart of the Olmec culture, afterwards, we will take you to the airport or bus terminal.

Day 5 Palenque – Yaxchilán - Bonampak – Lacanjá

Departure at 06:00 hrs. from the hotel (breakfast in the route) to the Corozal border, where we will go down the river for about one hour to visit the archeological site of Yaxchilán known for its sculptures. When we return we´ll continue to visit Bonampak.  Its name means "Painted Walls", therefore the fame of this place, where you can find striking paintings that show the daily life of the Mayans. Afterwards, we´ll transfer to the lacandon community of Lacanjá.  Accommodation on rustic cabins. Dinner included.

Day 6 Lacanjá – Palenque

After breakfast, we´ll take a walk through the Lacandon Forest roads in company of a lacandanian guide. We´ll visit the Cedros river and the Mactuni-Ha falls, where we´ll we have free time to swim and rest. Return to Lacanjá, dinner included, and in the afternoon, we will return to Palenque City. Accommodation.

Day 7 Palenque – La Venta Museum – Villahermosa

Day 2 San Cristóbal de las Casas – Atitlán Lake (Panajachel, Guatemala)

Early departure from the hotel to “La Mesilla” (Mexico – Guatemala border), where you´ll get through migration and customs, we´ll continue to Panajachel. Arrival to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 3 Atitlán Lake

Departure from the hotel at 08:30 hrs. to Atitlán lake (Panajachel). The lake tour is done on a shared boat and this tour is characterized for sharing with the tourist lots of cultural aspects, such as religion, arts, traditions and practices. The guide will give us information regarding the lake, volcanos and the Mayan languages that are spoken in that region. In Santiago, we´ll visit a Tzutujhil family, that will show us the loom and use of the Tocoyal costume: a 30m long headband; the manufacture process of yarn directly from cotton, the use of the Mayan sauna, etc. Also, we´ll visit Maximon, a popular idol where the guide is going to explain everything about this character and the huge influence that has on its natives and places. Return to Panajachel. 

Day 4 Panajachel – Chichicastenango – Antigua

After breakfast, we will take a boat to Santa Catarina Palopó, located at the fringes of Atitlán Lake, where we´ll do a quick visit. Next, we´ll go to Chichicastenango, where we will be able to appreciate the colors of the biggest indigenous market in Latin America, also we will witness the merge of the Mayan religion with the catholic one. Afterwards, we´ll transfer to the Antigua Guatemala City. Arrival to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 5 Antigua - Iximche – San Cristóbal de las Casas

Early departure to the Iximche archeological zone, located in the middle of the highlands forests of Guatemala, it was an old ceremonial center and the last Mayan stronghold before de Spanish Conquest. We´ll continue to “La Mesilla” (Mexico – Guatemala border), where you´ll get through migration and customs, we´ll continue to Panajachel. Arrival to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 1  Oaxaca

Day 2 Oaxaca – Tule – Mitla – Teotitlán – Hierve el Agua - Oaxaca        

This day we´ll do an all-day tour, starting with a visit to the Santa María town "El Tule", where you can appreciate one of the most famous trees in the world, also you can admire the baroque style church from the XVII century. Next, we´ll visit the archeological zone of Mitla, one of the most originals of Mexico. We´ll admire its palaces, tombs, meanders and mosaics perfectly handcrafted. Outside the archeological zone there is the crafts market of Mitla. Continuing with the tour, we will go to Hierve el Agua, a beautiful place between the Rocky Mountains of Oaxaca, here you can see the petrified waterfalls, springs, natural pools and traditional food, as well as a panoramic view of the place. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 3 Oaxaca - Monte Albán - Oaxaca

Today we will visit Monte Albán, considered the most important archeological site of Mesoamerica, located at 10 km from the city of Oaxaca and has a museum where you will learn about archeological sites such as: La Gran Plaza, Juego de Pelota, Los Danzantes, etc. return to hotel and accommodation.

Day 4 Oaxaca – Cuilapan – Zaachila – Arrazola - Oaxaca

On this tour day, our first stop will be in Cuilapan de Guerrero, where you will be able to admire the open chapel and the convent from the XVI century, it is an example of the Hispanic contribution to the Religious Architecture. Afterwards we will visit Zaachila, a town where you can still see the pre-Hispanic traditions and costumes such as the weekly market on Thursdays. Next stop is Arrazola, place where you will see alebrijes (abstract wood figures). Return to hotel and accommodation.

Day 5 Oaxaca – Coyotepec – Jalietza – Ocotlán - Oaxaca

The day starts with a tour to San Bartolo Coyotepec, the main attraction from this place is the black clay work made by the crafters. Next, we will visit Santo Tomás Jalietza; in this population, the natives manufacture wool and cotton in a waist loom. Last, we will visit ocotlán de Morelos, famous for its “tianguis” every Friday. In this market, you will find red clay and leather goods. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
