Breakfast at the hotel, next, we will depart to “Plutarco Elías Calles” dam, the most important in the region since 1928. Afterwards we will tour in a boat to the most important site of the state nowadays. The Isle where you’ll find religious image, the monumental “Cristo Roto” with its 25-meter-high, enjoy the vertigo and panoramic view of the unique san José de Gracia Canyon and the Aguascalientes valley. Return to hotel.

Day 4 Aguascalientes – Calvillo - Aguascalientes

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the world capital of guava, Calvillo, one of the most traditional towns of the state where we can see the Palacio de Gobierno, the main square where you’ll find all the small-town flavor, the Parian of 1825, the Hemiciclo de los Insurgentes, the Parroquia del Señor del Salitre from the XVIII century, the plantations and factories of guava candies. Participate in this culinary experience.

Day 1  Zacatecas

Arrival from your hometown (must be before 14:00 hrs.). At 16:00 hrs. you´ll be picked up in your hotel lobby and give you a 4 hours’ tour to the city, where you´ll see the Edén mine, the cableway, The Bufa mountain and the historic downtown, which has been proclaimed Human Heritage.

Day 2 Zacatecas

Today you will have an unforgettable 4-hour tour through one of the biggest and most wonderful picture gallery of Latin America, we will visit the plateresque downtown where you will watch the craft of silver, the Arte Virreinal museum, Nápoles Chapel and Regional Historic museum. Return to the hotel and free evening.

Day 3 Zacatecas – Jerez de García - Zacatecas

Today you will have a 6-hour tour through the archeological site of La Quemada, one of the most important cultural sites between the north and the south Mexican and the Chicomostoc legend. La quemada, a site with a lot of presence in the history of Mexico. We will continue to Jerez de García where we will visit the places that inspired the great Zacatecas poet Ramón López Velarde to write his famous poem SUAVE PATRIA, next we will visit the Santuario de la Soledad, Teatro Hinojosa, Jardín Rafael Páez, Parroquía de la Purisima, escuela de la Torre, etc. return to the Hotel and free evening.

Day 4 Zacatecas – Plateros - Zacatecas

Free morning and in the evening, you´ll have a tour to the sanctuary of Santo Niño de Atocha, third sanctuary with more visits in Mexico, dedicated originally to the Cristo de los Plateros.

Day 5 Zacatecas

Free morning, departure from the hotel at 12:00 hrs. Return to your place of origin.

DAY 01 GUANAJUATO

Arrival to Guanajuato city and accommodation and transportation to the hotel by your own.

The arrival to the hotel must be before 2:00 PM, at 6:30 PM pick up from the Lobby of your hotel to start with a 3hrs city tour, where we will visit the municipal cemetery to observe the ancient mummies of Guanajuato, continuing we will visit the Guanajuato tunnels that will take us to the monument of Don Quijote de la Mancha and Sancho Panza, the old residential neighborhood with colorful houses, the government palace, The reservoir known as La Presa de la Olla, The monument to “Pipila” an important character of the Mexican History, Jorge Negrete’s House and monument, handcraft shop, and La Valenciana Mine.

Tour ends in Guanajuato downtown.

DAY 02 GUANAJUATO - DOLORES HIDALGO – ATOTONILCO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Today our tour will last 8 hrs, where we will visit the town of SANTA ROSA DE LIMA, will have time for Quince liquor tasting, and a sample of the local production of Mezcal, then we will continue to colorful tomb of Jose Alfredo Jimenez, The Museum of Miguel Hidalgo, the temple where Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla called to the war of Independence.

We will visit the museum/house of Mariano Abasolo and continue to the Sanctuary of Atotonilco to admire the magnificent art and complex Mexican baroque murals.

In San Miguel de Allende, we will visit the Downtown, the house of famous Mexican comedian “Cantinflas” The House of “Pedro Vargas” better known as The Nightingale of the Americas, and the Historic Museum of San Miguel de Allende, and the iconic Parish of San Miguel.

Return to the hotel in Guanajuato.

DAY 03 GUANAJUATO – QUERÉRTARO

After breakfast you will get on your own to the local bus station to take the bus to the city of Querétaro traveling with PRIMERA PLUS (2 hours traveling distance). Arrival to Querétaro and accommodation in your hotel, free time for lunch, at the indicated time you must go to the meeting point to take the local cable car to visit the most important touristic sites of Querétaro such as:

Day 1  Valles City

Day 2 Ciudad Valles – Puente de Dios – Cascaditas - Trampolín – Ciudad Valles

Departure to the Huasteca, where you will visit the most important downstream and fall PUENTE DE DIOS, natural formation that unifies two hills in which the Temasopo river flows underneath, the river forms a waterfall and goes into a cavern only to integrate to the river. In this place the force of the Tamasopo river has eroded the Stone forming a natural Stone bridge. Next, you will visit the Cascaditas, a set of waterfalls that goes from 1 to five pools and the Trampolín, a beautiful place.  Small river with a set of waterfalls, pools, treed with hay, butterflies, regional birds and ducks. Return to Ciudad Valles.

Day 3 Valles City – Xilitla – Sótano de las Guaguas – Valles City

Departure to Xilitla, where you will visit the surreal castle of Edward James surrounded by thick vegetation and waterfalls. Next, you’ll go to Sótano de las Guaguas, large open in form of a seashell where ferns and bushes grow, parrots and swifts nest, a striking show that offers to enter to the inside of the cellar on the evenings.

Day 4 Valles City- Tamúl Waterfall and Cueva de Agua – Valles City

Departure to Tamúl waterfall, the biggest waterfall in San Luis Potosí with a 300-meter width and 105-meter height. Next, we will visit Cueva de Agua, a clear water moat with a +8-meter depth.

Day 5 Valles City

Day 3 Guanajuato – Dolores Hidalgo – Atotonilco – San Miguel de Allende- Guanajuato

Today you will make an historic tour, we will pass through Mineral de Santa Rosa, have a sampling of wine made of quince and mescal from sierra, José Alfredo Jiménez tomb, Casa de Hidalgo museum, casa de Visitas, the temple where the freedom cry happened, crafts shops, Mariano Abasolo house, the Hidalgo monument, Atotonilco temple to admire the frescos made by a native. San Miguel de Allende, the viewpoint, Don Pedro Vargas and Cantiflas house, Allende House and its beautiful pseudo gothic chapel. Return to the hotel in Guanajuato.

Day 4 Guanajuato – Cerro del Cubilete- Guanajuato

Today you will tour the Cristo Rey monument where you will visit the geographic center of the Mexican Republic, the Cerro del Cubilete and the majestic Cristo Rey monument where you will have a complete explanation of the monument and later you will have free time to take pictures and admire the beautiful landscape.

Day 5 Guanajuato- Mines and Estates-Guanajuato

Today you will tour the mines and ranches of Guanajuato, in this tour we will have the opportunity to learn about mining in Guanajuato, Mina de San Juan de Rayas (XVI century) is one of the oldest mines in Guanajuato and is still active. We will walk through the pithead of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe or “Secho” to watch the extraction methods of mineral that used by miners called “tenateros” in the XVIII century. Continuing with our tour, we will visit the ex-ranches like Ex-Hacienda Santa Ana, nowadays the “Casa Museo Gene Byron” beautiful residency transformed into a museum where you’ll find the designs of artist Gene Byron (in pottery, brass, stone, wood, paintings, etc.). In here you will find samples and sale of brass, copper and tin crafts. We will end the day with “Hacienda de San Gabriel de Barrera”, where we will find Louis XV style original furniture from the XVIII century, in which the old courtyards are now beautiful gardens in 18 different styles.

Day 1  San Luis Potosí city tour visit

Arrival from your place of origin and transfer by yourself to the hotel we start the visit with a foot tour through the Historical Centre of San Luis, visiting the four main squares, government palaces and magnificent Cathedral, admiring the imponent Porfirian buildings, silent witnesses of history. We board the transport to get to Calzada de Guadalupe, to the Basilica, richly decorated on a neoclassical style, finishing at Centro de las Artes, former prison built during the Porfiriato, where nowadays the fine arts are taught.

Day 2 San Luis Potosí- Hacienda Gogorrón and Santa María del Río- san Luis Potosí

Today we depart from San Luis to Valle de san Francisco, agricultural land that held several Estates during the Porfiriato, where we will visit Hacienda de Gogorrón, location for international films. We will continue to Sta. María del Río, birth place of the rebozo, where we will visit the rebozo school to know more about the hand craft of this traditional cloth, we will visit the Asunción church, traditional bakery and local crafts shop.

Day 3 San Luis Potosí- Ex – Haciendas Potosinas- San Luis Potosí

Today we will depart from San Luis towards the north to enter into the potosino highlands where we will visit the agricultural and cattle ex – estates from the colony époque where we will find recollections of their way of living such as la Noria, watch tower, accounting books where the owners invite us to share their stories.

Day 4 San Luis Potosí- Real de Catorce- San Luis Potosí

After crossing the potosino highlands, land of cacti and palms, we go up the mountain where the Ogarrio tunnel invites us to discover the charm of the magical town of Real de Catorce, among ruins, colonial and Porfirian buildings. We visit the main attractions such as their first church with a currently used graveyard, bullring and Palenque; its weapon square, currency house and to conclude, the Purísima Concepción church where the miraculous image of St. Francis of Assisi is venerated.     

Day 5 San Luis Potosí

Free morning and at 12: 00 hrs. we checkout of the hotel. Return to your place of origin.
